Culture lovers will be glad to know that there are lots of historically interesting destinations on the high plateau of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna. Discover a multitude of historical remains, precious witnesses of an important past. The time travel begins with the prehistory and many different Palaeolithic and Mesolithic excavations found next to Cogola di Carbonare as well as the Echen Lake.
This period is followed by the German-Cimbric colonisation, whereof there is still a German-speaking population in Luserna. This was also the time of the belle epoque, of the Viennese nobility holidays as well as of the beginnings of tourism.
